On May 12th 2008, a series of brutal riots started in the South African providence of Alexandria. These attacks targeted Northern African foreigners and lasted for months and became the worst and most brutal since the fall of apartheid. Most of these targeted foreigners had already fled their home countries due to bloody civil wars, corrupt governments and collapsed economies. This is the story of one group of those twice displaced foreigners who fled to the Youngsfield Refugee camp for safety.
